Descriptif :
Our team is devoted to cross-disciplinary research combining cell biology, biophysics, bioinformatics and advanced microscopies to investigate the dynamics of cell adhesion and differentiation. The team benefits from a very strong scientific expertise in cell adhesion dynamics and signaling with coordination of transdisciplinary projects. We are investigating how integrin-mediated adhesive machinery of cells sense biochemical and physical properties of the microenvironment to modulate downstream signaling networks that control adaptive responses implicated in migration, invasion and tissue architecture. Our objective is to extend our knowledge of the organization and dynamics of the adhesive systems to improve our basic understanding on cell life and to use this knowledge to advance in the understanding and treatment of pathologies.
