Descriptif :
Our research aims to understand how cells respond to changes in the mechanical properties of their surrounding environment. We combine biochemistry, molecular biology and quantitative biophysics approaches to investigate the molecular mechanisms that control nuclear structure and function in response to mechanical stress. Recent projects focus on: How the nucleoskeleton regulates gene expression in vascular cells and in neuronal progenitors, and how intercellular transmission of mechanical signals regulates collective behavior within epithelium.
