Descriptif :
We develop research in the following areas: metabolic engineering in bacteria and bacterial communities, dynamical properties of genetic networks, synthetic biology of RNA (engineering of riboregulators (RNA switches) and RNA-based genetic circuits), the function of non-coding RNAs and the genetic networks of cellular decision (motility vs adhesion), the role of stochasticity in genetic regulation or in the evolution of ecosystems, phage display applications. Our research includes: instrumental developments and the development of quantitative methods, the development of new genetic engineering techniques, the development of new mathematical or computational methods.
