Nonlinear dynamics of gene networks

Most biological functions are driven by regulatory networks featuring many interlocked feedback loops. These networks are highly dynamic and nonlinear and tyically exploit such nonlinear behaviors as bistability and oscillations. Following a short general introduction, I will provide examples from our own research, mainly on clocks and cycles.
